"People always expect you to play at your best because they are used to seeing you dominate the sport for so many years," Djokovic said. "People need to cool off a little bit with the judgment and the criticism and everything." He also praised Williams' comeback, calling it epic and expressing his support for her continued participation in the sport.
Williams, 44, shared a similar sentiment, stating that she didn't have any expectations heading into Wimbledon, other than to have a good time. "Sometimes it's just good to enjoy yourself," she said.
